Location: Vista Point is in the Southwest portion of Erie Colorado, located in Weld County. Vista Point is built on rolling topography, and also backs to open space, natural creeks, and extensive trails (both paved and unpaved, for walking and bicycles).   Vista Point is often mistaken for being a section of Vista Ridge, due to their extremely close proximity to one another.  However, Vista Point is a separate subdivision and does not share an HOA, nor does it share access to the swimming pools or clubhouse amenities in Vista Ridge.

• Nearby charter schools include Prospect Ridge Academy, and Peak to Peak Charter.

HOA-The neighborhood is HOA protected, and the HOA monthly dues are $55.00.  These dues cover common grounds maintenance and trash removal. 

Builder: Vista Point is a neighborhood composed of larger tract homes, originally constructed by D.R. Horton in 2003.  These homes were D.R. Horton's larger "Continental" series.  Some of them are as large as 3,500sq feet plus additional square footage in the basement.    

Prices: $430,000-$660,000, with the majority of homes remaining under $600,000.   Homes exceeding $600,000 are typically on premium lots backing to open space, or unobstructed mountain views, etc. 

Dining and Shopping: Nearby amenities include the brand-new King Soopers Marketplace at Sheridan and Hwy 7, Costco, Sears Grand, Super Target, Walmart, Cabela's, The Lazy Dog Sports Bar & Grill, Chili's, Famous Dave's Barbeque, and the Colorado National Golf Course.  Coming in 2017-2018, the area will also feature a new Ikea, Top Golf, and a massive Designer Outlet Mall all planned for construction on I-25 between the 136th & Hwy 7 exits.
